My lovely friend Kate recently had a new baby called Theo. Kate has amazing style and had mentioned that she was decorating the nursery with a vintage cowboy theme.
So when my brother Tom gave me the Cath Kidston ‘Make’ book for Christmas, with heaps of ideas and templates of lots of her lovely designs… including her vintage cowboy design; I knew what I had to make!
The book suggested sewing this design on things such as a child’s denim jacket or a canvas bag, but I decided to sew/ applique it onto linen, add Theo’s name using some alphabet stamps I recently bought and frame it up for his nursery.
I can’t wait to try lots of other projects from this book. Thanks for the really thoughtful gift Tom.
Joining in with my creative space and Show and Tell later in the week.
